Finding my perfect fall purse

The purse that I've been bringing around with me all summer is this really bright yellow. I really love it but I think that it's about time I find a new purse for fall. I can't really see myself taking a bright yellow purse with me to fall events like Thanksgiving. So I've been on the hunt for this really great new fall purse for me to take.

I've been shopping around online for a new purse and while I was doing that about a week ago, I ran acorss some TV and internet packages . I looked over them, showed them to my husband and after that we decided to switch over our home services to one of them.

I did end up finding this really adorable light brown purse. I really love big purses so I can throw everything in my purse and take it with me. It has soem really cute straps and bronze colored hardware all over it. I think that it's perfect and just my style. Plus, this is a purse that's going to last me for a while, I think beyond this fall season.

Cardio exercise

I've doing some cardio exercises every week lately as I really want to lose weight and shed extra fats on my belly. I'm kind of conscious how my belly looks since I gave birth. I hope I would lose weight in two months. I really have to be dedicated to attain this goal. I think this can be very challenging. I noticed that I can easily lose weight if I jog, so I'm going to do that often. I have a gym membership, but I haven't started going to the gym yet. :-( I want to go to the gym very soon so I can do more cardio exercises, like swimming, treadmill, etc.

We know that smoking cigarettes is dangerous to your health. I wonder why people still smoke cigarettes when it can cause different kinds of health issues. It can cause cancer, respiratory diseases, birth defects, skin problems, heart problems, lung problems, etc. However, it's nice to know that there are many people who are trying to quit smoking cigarettes.

Trying to quit smoking can be really hard. Many smokers are stressed to quit smoking. The fact that it can't be done overnight.

My boss has been riding me hard lately and with the economy the way it is I want to make sure I’m getting everything done I’m supposed to. He asked me to do some research on business solutions and I found a good package (more info here on that) and that seemed to please him but it seems like every day I don’t stay late (like, until 7 or 8 late) he gives me a disapproving look. I love him to death as a boss but ever since the pressure got worse for us to keep the business afloat he’s been being a little more overbearing. There’s a lot of hardship in the business world right now and I know we’re going to make it if we keep working together as a team so I’m going to do everything I can do to be a model employee. I think there’s something to be said for being a good assistant but my job description seems to be expanding week over week because of the cutbacks!

Before Jim got home the other night, I decided to be a “bad” mom and go ahead and feed the kids dinner. If you know me, you know that I absolutely hate hotdogs. I wasn’t all that hungry so I popped in the ones Jim made this weekend and let the kids have a real healthy meal. As I slipped off to research texas electricity providers and pay a few bills, I hear a screeching scream from the kitchen. Kid 1 is crying hysterically and Kid 2 is sporting the guilty-but-defensive face. Apparently, in their hot dog excitement, Kid 2’s dog fell off the bun onto Kid 1’s new jeans. Madness ensued. Kid 1 is crying about how the ketchup will never come out, and Kid 2 is defending that he always has ketchup on his shirt and it’s no big deal. I strip Kid 1 and soak her jeans, just as Kid 3 is squirting more ketchup on his hot dog – and his pants. I go back to strip Kid 3 and wash a load on “stain fighter” and come in to see that Kid 2 has also taken off his pants at the table because everyone else did. Lord help me.

Today is Monday and it's October 24th. Wow, where did the time go? It seems this year is almost over. Well, I am really looking forward to Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve. I don't know if I'm going to join the Halloween this year. I just had a baby. I really don't want anybody to be knocking on the door asking for candies while my baby is asleep at night. I think putting a sign "No candies" on our porch would be a good idea. Anyhow, I am going to bring my little guy to the Harvest Festival this Saturday. I think it'll be fun for him.

I love vacation. Vacation is a perfect time to get away from daily routine and stress. Speaking of vacation, one of my vacation plans is to get around Europe. I really don't know when it's going to happen, but I am always hopeful that I could go to Europe someday. Seriously, I will just keep my fingers crossed.

Anyhow, one of the places in Europe that I desire to visit is Spain. I think Spain is one of the most beautiful vacation places in the world. Don't you agree? If ever I could go there, I would like to stay in a villa. I think renting holiday villas in Spain will make my vacation very special and extraordinary.

In fact, I already started reading some Spain travel articles on the web. I found out that Tenerife is great place to experience an exotic and interesting vacation. It's surrounded by sea and beaches. That place sounds like an ideal vacation spot. Wow, I can picture myself enjoying the hot climate and fantastic beaches. And I would like to rent a holiday villa in Tenerife to make my vacation perfect and enjoyable. Now, I am getting more excited about this vacation plan.

I think that my roommate is amazed that I take the time to fix myself real meals instead of just ordering in or eating junk food from our dorm's snack machine. But I've been cooking for years so it's just like second nature to me. Like it's literally no difference to me. It also just takes a few more minute than running to the corner store and picking up a sandwich. When I break down the cost, it may even be cheaper to cook than doing that anyway. But I promised to teach her how to make stir fry, about the most basic form of cooking.

I tried to find some different variations based on the things that she likes to eat. While I was online looking through some of that stuff, I ran across the site http://www,internet.Clear.com. I looked through it a little bit and after that I sent it to my mom so she could use it as a better home internet service than the one we've had for years.

I went to Seafood City on Saturday because I wanted to unwind and eat Filipino foods. I was very grumpy and frustrated with my husband on Saturday morning. I really hate it when he does nothing but watches tv for long hours. So, I ended up cleaning our bedroom because it was very dusty. I also cleaned his guitars (hanging on the wall), electronic drum set and long keyboard. I vacuumed and mopped the floor. After I did all these things, I wanted to treat myself with Filipino foods, so I went to the new location of Seafood City here in San Diego. I roamed around the grocery store and I found a few delicacies from my hometown, Cebu. I got so excited to see La Fortuna hopia ube, so I grabbed one pack to see if I still like it. Then, I went to the produce area and saw alugbati (which made my heartbeat so fast). I excitedly grabbed a pack of alugbati. It was my first time seeing alugbati here in San Diego. It made me think of cooking utan bisaya. I got kabocha, horseraddish leaves (malunggay), eggplant, and some other stuff. After the grocery, I went to get palitaw for snacks and went to one of the pinoy restaurants nearby and got chicken afritada and rice. Well, I got frustrated with palitaw, which was very saggy and the coconut stank. I wasn't happy with chicken afritada too because it was very bland. Overall, my day wasn't bad at all. I was very happy with the vegetables I got.

My best friend is going to throw a huge Valentine's Day party. She thought that it would be a really fun thing to do and have everyone bring their families. This is going to be really great, especially for our friends that are single. St. Valentine realized the discrimination and unfairness of the decree. He challenged Claudius and sustained to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's dealings were revealed. Claudius ordered that Valentine be put to death. During the days that Valentine was in jailed, he fell in love with the blind daughter of his warden. He miraculously heal her from her blindness because of his love for her and great faith to God. Before his death, he sent her a letter saying, "From your Valentine." The phrase has been used on his day ever since.

There are many legends and stories about Valentine’s Day. But the most important is we remember St. Valentine, and we expressed our love and appreciation to our loved ones. It doesn’t need to be fancy. We don’t have to buy expensive flowers, gifts, and having a costly dinner, and after that we get broke. That’s not love but instead that’s showing off. Let’s enjoy this day with our loved ones. Happy Valentines to everyone!!

It's a busy day

Today is going to be a busy day. My husband and I are going to get all our stuff from the storage since he was done making a shed. I was glad about it so we don’t have to pay for storage rent every month. Our storage rental is $170 a month. And we have been using it for over a year now. I don’t want to think about how much we spent for over a year. It just breaks my heart. Anyhow, we are going to move our stuff to our new shed now. Our shed is pretty big. I just hope our stuff all fits in there. There is some heavy stuff in the storage, I just hope my husband would be able to move them. It is just us, no one else is going to help us out. In my case, I am very limited to a certain degree because I am pregnant. But I am better than nothing at all. Right? I just hope nothing bad will happen during the transfer. I better go now. We still have to get a Uhaul truck.

My husband has been changing and improving some things around the house. Actually, I am really looking forward to seeing the house done. It has been a while since he started renovating our home.
