A woman was awake during this surgery

I wouldn’t want any surgery in the future if I can avoid. I was glad to cancel my bunion surgery next month. I got proper shoes to correct my weak tendons and my falling arches. But thi 24-year- old woman woke up during abdominal surgery at a hospital in Alice Springs in Australia. She could not open her eyes, but could hear and feel everything. She felt every cut of surgeon's knife. She was going to scream for help but she couldn’t due to the anesthesia that paralyzed her. The surgeons were not aware that she was awake. That’s freaky. That’s why I don’t like surgery.

No communion for Obama supporters

In South Carolina Roman Catholic priest, Rev. Jay Scott Newman made a letter and distributed to churchgoers at St. Mary Catholic Church saying that churchgoers who voted for Barack Obama should abstain from receiving Holy Communion because supports abortion. He also said, “Our nation has chosen for its chief executive the most radical pro-abortion politician ever to serve in the United States Senate or to run for president.” "Voting for a pro-abortion politician when a plausible pro-life alternative exists constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil, and those Catholics who do so place themselves outside of the full communion of Christ's Church and under the judgment of divine law. Persons in this condition should not receive Holy Communion until and unless they are reconciled to God in the Sacrament of Penance, lest they eat and drink their own condemnation."

I am against abortion and not Obama supporter. This policy is hard to argue because Catholics have their own doctrines. It was people’s choice and prerogative. We are all sinners. Yet, God still loves us. What do you think about this Catholic policy?

A British pilot got blinded but landed safely

A British pilot named Jim O’Neill, who was suddenly blinded by a stroke for blind 40 minutes during flying a small Cessna aircraft, lost his sight 5,500 feet in the air. A hard to believe incident -this is not only in the movies but also in real life. He was terrified when he couldn't see the dials in front of him, yet he managed to make an emergency call for help, as he wanted to land as soon as possible. He said, “He went blind very suddenly and then, once he'd got over the shock, was able to distinguish a bit of darkness and light." The plane hit the landing strip and bounced up again and did the same on the second land. Then, he was able to keep his plane on the ground as he was guided byRAF Wing Commander Paul Gerrard . O’Neill is an experienced pilot who has flown for nearly two decades. After the incident, he is recovering in hospital where he is beginning to regain his sight. This is a miracle. I believe that God helped him.
