What do you normally do on Holy week?

What do you normally do on Holy week? People go to the beach, hang out with friends, do nothing, take vacation or repent and pray. So, what do you do on Holy week? Holy week is the time of the year where Christians venerate and remember the suffering, crucifixion, and death of Jesus Christ. Holy week ends on Easter Sunday. Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. Typically, the most well-attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches. I noticed a lot of people at our church last year on Easter Sunday. All Jesus paid the penalty for sin all the way through His suffering, death and resurrection. He saved us all and gave us eternal life in Him.

No communion for Obama supporters

In South Carolina Roman Catholic priest, Rev. Jay Scott Newman made a letter and distributed to churchgoers at St. Mary Catholic Church saying that churchgoers who voted for Barack Obama should abstain from receiving Holy Communion because supports abortion. He also said, “Our nation has chosen for its chief executive the most radical pro-abortion politician ever to serve in the United States Senate or to run for president.” "Voting for a pro-abortion politician when a plausible pro-life alternative exists constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil, and those Catholics who do so place themselves outside of the full communion of Christ's Church and under the judgment of divine law. Persons in this condition should not receive Holy Communion until and unless they are reconciled to God in the Sacrament of Penance, lest they eat and drink their own condemnation."

I am against abortion and not Obama supporter. This policy is hard to argue because Catholics have their own doctrines. It was people’s choice and prerogative. We are all sinners. Yet, God still loves us. What do you think about this Catholic policy?

Third Day

The Christian rock band, Third Day just had their concert here in San Diego on Saturday. We didn't go because we had some things to do. Our friends at Church went to see the concert. And they like it a lot. Today, I was browsing you tube and I found an awesome video of Third Day called, God of Wonders. Watch the video and listen to the lyrics. It is great!
