Wave by Antonio Carlos Jobim

I really love Bossa Nova music. Bossa nova is a style of Brazilian music most popularized by Antônio Carlos Jobim and and João Gilberto. The musical style progressed from samba but is more compounded harmonically but less percussive. Historians and fans often debated on the influence of bossa nova as cool jazz and cool sensibility. I really loved Carlos Jobim's wave. Take a moment to listen to video here.

Chuck Mangione

I really love the music, "Feel so good" by Chuck Mangione. Today, as I was driving on the way home from Walmart. I played that song and it reminds me to post it here on my blog. I want to share this you tube video of Feel so good here. Chuck Mangione is an American flugelhorn player and composer who achieved international success with his jazz-pop single, "Feels So Good" (1978) featuring guitarist Grant Geissman. Basia

I really love Basia's songs. Since I was a teenager (early 90's)--- I always have been fascinated by the songs of Basia. The first song that caught my ears was "One Note Samba". Then followed by "Cruising for Bruising", "A new day for you", "Time and Tide", "Promises" and many others. I embedded a video from you tube here. Take a moment to listen and watch this video. Mr. Blue by Michael Franks

I would like to share here in my blog, one of my favorite singers, Michael Franks. I really love this song. It is called Mr. Blue. Michael Franks is a jazz singer and songwriter in the U.S. I love some of his music, like "The lady wants to know", "Antonio's Song", "Vivaldi's Song", "Down in Brazil".

He Reigns by Newsboys

I love Christian songs. I would like to post about "Newsboys". I did not know about this group before until my husband introduced it to me and gave me a CD. Newsboys is a grammy-nominated contemporary Christian and Australian pop rock band. I really love their songs, "He Reigns", "Its You", "Not Ashamed", "In Christ Alone" and many more.
